Easter Sunday

We had Easter Sunday lunch in Cushing. Afterwards, we hid eggs outside and played with bubbles...needless to say, Jaxson slept like a champ on the ride home to Houston.

Early B-Day Celebration for Jaxson

Since we were in East Texas for Easter Weekend, we thought it would be good to have Jaxson an early birthday celebration with friends and family at home. We threw Jaxson an Elmo Birthday party this year at E's and PawPaw's house in Rusk. We had a house full of family and friends.

Jaxson got all kinds of cool toys and presentes from everyone! I think we can call the party a success!

Easter Egg Hunt in Rusk

We took Jaxson to an Easter Egg hunt at the State Park in Rusk over the weekend. It was a beautiful day and the weather was perfect. It was so much fun watching Jaxson run around and pick up the eggs. It's amazing how quickly he's changing...and growing up!

On the Move

He loved the Easter Bunny...gave him lots of hugs.

On your mark, get set, go!

Last Weekend in March

Nannie and Papa Joe were down for another hospital check-up this weekend and Jaxson was so happy to see them! As you can tell, the three of them get along just fine! See pics below!

It was a little chilly...but not enough to slow him down.

PawPaw and "E" Came to Visit!

Elaine and Lewie came down from Rusk this weekend to see Mr. Jaxson. Needless to say, fun was had by all! Jaxson just loves dragging his grandparents around the house to show them how all his toys work. Speaking of toys, Jaxson got a new ride this weekend.

Also, we all met our newest member of the family! Ms. Sadie has been inaugurated! Jaxson just couldn't get enough of her!

Check out the pics below!

I recorded this Audio Clip this morning with my iPhone...it took a while of converting from one audio file to the next...and then taking the audio file and making it into a video file so that youtube would accept it. I think it was worth it...

Dinner Time

Jessica took this picture tonight. She said Jaxson was busy taking all his food out of the bowl so that he could wear it as a hat! LOL!

Making Lunch for Jaxson

Jessica went on a girls weekend trip to the wine country (Napa) in California with a couple of her girlfriends (nice, huh?). So, I was in charge of getting Monday's lunch ready for Jaxson. It sure was interesting trying to get the cheese and shaved ham to fit along the curves of those letters! I had fun!

Jaxson's "Tent"

Do you remember the big set of tunnels Jaxson received from Papa Joe and Nanny? (If not, click here.) Well, Jessica set up the main part of the tunnel in the living room and Jaxson has been treating it as his "tent." As you can imagine, everyone that comes by the house is forced (by Jaxson) to venture into the tent! Lewie and Elaine were down this weekend and as soon as they walked into the door, Jaxson grabbed them by the hands and led them to his favorite place. See below.

Jaxson and Lewie in the "tent"

I laughed so hard at Lewie's feet sticking out of the tent!

Jaxson got them both in there!

Looks like he's had enough! LOL!

Karaoke

So, Jaxson received a karaoke machine for Christmas this year and we have discovered that he is going to be the next American Idol! Of course, as you can see from the video below, he didn't get those killer vocals from his ol' man! LOL!

Dec. 25 - Christmas in Rusk

On Christmas morning we loaded up and zipped over to Rusk to be with Jessica's family. Needless to say, Jaxson had another exciting, toy-filled day! Merry Christmas!
