St. Patrick's Day 2009

We had a good reason to celebrate today! Dad was relased from the hospital (after longer than a month stay) and was able to come to my house. Luckily, Jo Lynn was on Spring Break and was able to help Mom make the transfer from Methodist Hospital to Clear Lake.

Long story short, I dropped by the grocery store on the way home and picked up some food coloring...figured since we couldn't celebrate this year with some green beer in an Irish pub, I could at least mix us up a green beer at home.

So, Jessica, Jo Lynn, and myself did just that. We toasted to all the blessings we've received and then we called it a day. Here's to a Happy St. Patty's Day to you!

Jaxson is WALKING!

Go Texan Day

There was a Go Texan Day (I believe that is what it was called) on February 27th. So, in preperation for the Houston Rodeo, people were encouraged to wear their Cowboy gear....So, Jessica had Jaxson ready to go!

Jaxson Loves His Great, Great Aunt Peggy

Jaxson had the best time playing "cat and mouse" with Peggy. I didn't get the camera out until right at the end, but Jaxson laughed and laughed forever! He thought she was so funny!

The Feed and the Clean-Up

Well, I once again had the honors of feeding Jaxson. He is starting to swat at the spoon when we feed him. This, combined with rubbing his mouth with his hands and then smearing that all over his head, creates for quite a mess to clean up.

Valentine's Day Weekend

Valentine's Day Weekend was extremely busy in Houston. My Dad had surgery and we had both sides of the family in Houston for the events. Needless to say, it wasn't all about chocolate and flowers this year. Below are some pics that were taken while we were around the house.
