Sunday Lunch

Jessica's parents have been down this weekend for a visit. They have had a lot of fun with Jaxson!

We went to BJ's Restaurant today for lunch and Jessica's mother, Elaine, snapped this picture of us before we loaded back into the car. Jessica jokingly quoted the 80s band Timbuk3 when she stated, "Jaxson's future is so bright, he has to wear shades..."

Jessica and I had a nice day at the house today. Jaxson was in a great mood and kept us entertained for most of the day. He is such a happy little fella. We are truly blessed to have him! See below for some fun pictures!

Jaxson is 3 Months Old Today

Well, today started out pretty normal...coffee, news, the sounds of Jaxson discovering how to make different sounds. Then, we decided to give Papa Joe and Grannie a call to let them hear how much Jaxson was talking. After Jaxson put on a show and before we hung up the phone I said, "well, you guys could be in Houston by lunch if you decide you want to see him."

The next thing we knew they were calling us saying that they were already on the road! They made the 3-hour drive without a problem and were here to help Jaxson celebrate his 3-month old birthday! YEAH!

Jaxson's First Trip to the Grocery Store

We took Jaxson on his first ever Grocery Store adventure last night! Jaxson toured the aisles of Kroger and was mesmerized by the people, bright colors, and background music playing. However, after about 15 minutes of entertainment he went sound asleep! HAHA!

July 4th Weekend

We went to East Texas for the July 4th Holiday weekend. Jaxson was showered with attention from all of our family members. We finally remembered that we had the video camera with us in Cushing one afternoon, so we took a few shots of him trying to talk to everyone.
